MADELYN SCHENCK

Madelyn has been grooming professionally for 5 years. She has lived in the Easton/Nazareth area her whole life and loves this community! She has had different types of animals, ranging from guinea pigs and chinchillas to dogs and cats. She ventrued into grooming when her since passed long-coated chihuahua started having health issues and she wanted to groom him herself. She interned under his groomer at the time and soon after started with her own professional grooming career. She currently has 3 dogs:
Mushroom, a 2 yr old long coat Chihuahua
Buster, a 4 yr old standard Poodle Mix (immaculately groomed by the way!!)
Janell, an 8 year old miniature schnauzer rescue
Madelyn excels in hand scissored and easy to maintain pet cuts for pet parents, senior and hard to handle pups, as well as extensive knowledge and certificates in breed standard trims. She joins the team of stress free grooming experts here at EarthWise Pet's GroomBar. She is CPR and first aid certified along with a plethora of other health and grooming related certificates from attending and participating in extended education classes. Some of her interests outside of grooming include attending car shows, modifying her car, doing makeup and collecting it and gardening of any kind.
EVELYN CAUSEY

Evelyn is 31 years old, born and raised in Philadelphia and recently moved to the Easton area. She has always had a deep passion for animals. Her journey began at a "farm school" where she was immersed in hands-on learning about various animals including dogs, horses and cows. This led her to earning an internship at the Philadelphia Zoo, furthering her knowledge of animal behavior and care. Eager to expand her expertise, she pursued and acquired a dog training certificate from Animal Behavior College. For the past three years, Evelyn has been honing her grooming skills professionally, working as a grooming apprentice. She has two dogs and a cat: Kylie (8) who is a sassy hound mix, Carson (7) a very talkative pitbull-husky mix and Miss Kitty Softpaws (10) who is a glutton for attention but only when she feels like it. Beyond her career and outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring thrift shops for hidden treasures, and casting a line while fishing in the great outdoors. We are so excited to have her join us and begin to meet your fur babies and caring for them the way we do here at GroomBar!
Kayla Testino
Kayla Joins us from North Jersey and has relocated to Phillipsburg with her spouse and their 3 dogs! Together, they have Cooper, a Golden Retriever who has tons of anxiety and has taught her a lot! Their middle dog, Peaches, is a German shorthaired Pointer and is the sassy boss of the house. The baby, Tito, is a Pitbull who is a cuddly mush.
Kayla has been an avid dog lover her whole life and began grooming in 2021, graduating from the NJ Dog Grooming Academy. Her favorite part of grooming is forming bonds with your dogs...it makes all the difference to a dog's anxiety to have that relationship. She loves all doggies, but her favorite breeds to groom are Poodles and Poodle Mixes, Bernese Mountain Dogs and Airedale Terriers! Your dog will be in loving and caring arms while Kayla is grooming (and singing)!
Kayla previously worked under two competition groomers who helped her hone her skills in all types of coats and styles. She is keeping up her continuing education with the rest of the GroomBar groomers at local and national classes and shows. Outside of grooming, she loves to spend time as a family, attending farmers marketings, enjoying wineries and being outside. Come say hi and introduce your pooch!
Megan Barrett
Megan has been in the grooming industry for over three years. What she lacks in experience she makes up for with a kind heart and determination to help every dog she interacts with. She falls in love with every dog she meets, young or old, big or small. During their experience with Megan, your pup will be treated to little songs about how brave and smart they are, along with endless compliments regarding how cute they look. She treats each dog like they were her own by providing a gentle, caring and fun environment for grooming. When she isn’t day dreaming about giving dogs fun colored mullets, she likes to put together Lego sets and buy too many books for her already looming book pile.
HAWKEN MONACH
As part of the family, Hawken has been studying Pet nutrition and you may have been lucky enough to have counsel from him in the store. He has also been spending time in GroomBar for the past year, bathing dogs and learning the ins and outs of grooming with the experienced staff we have here! He loves big dogs and they love him even more! He is very gentle and soft spoken, a steady and calm presence for your dogs.
